Nicholas O’Grady has served as Chief Executive Officer at NOG since January 2020 and was named to its Board of Directors in 2024. Mr. O’Grady joined the company in June 2018, previously serving as Chief Financial Officer. He also held the title of President from September 2019 until his promotion to CEO. Mr. O’Grady leads the team in all aspects of the business, including acquisitions, investments, financial management and business strategy. Over his tenure, the company has executed acquisitions and related financings over 6 billion dollars.

Prior to joining NOG, Mr. O’Grady had nearly two decades of energy-related finance experience, both as an investment banker and as a principal investor. Mr. O’Grady began his career in the Natural Resources investment banking group at Bank of America. Later, moving to the asset management business, he worked at firms such as Highbridge Capital Management. Immediately prior to joining the company, Mr. O’Grady worked at Hudson Bay Capital Management, where he focused on energy-related equities, public credit, and private and direct investments.

Since 2025, Mr. O’Grady has served on the Board of Directors of the American Exploration & Production Council, or AXPC, as the only Non-Operating Upstream E&P CEO on the Council.

In 2026, Mr. O’Grady was named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Heartland award, which recognizes business leaders across Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska for exceptional ingenuity and corporate growth. He is also active in the community through volunteer youth coaching and service on several local nonprofit committees.

 Mr. O’Grady holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Economics from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Adam Dirlam has served as NOG's President since 2021, leading the Company's M&A and capital allocation efforts. He joined NOG in 2009 and held a series of roles of increasing responsibility, including Executive Vice President – Land beginning in May 2018 and Chief Operating Officer beginning in January 2020, before being named President.

Prior to joining NOG, Mr. Dirlam served in various finance and accounting roles at Honeywell International.

Mr. Dirlam holds a bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas and a master's degree from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.

Chad Allen has served as NOG's Chief Financial Officer since 2020, overseeing all accounting, financial, and public company functions. He joined NOG in August 2013 as Corporate Controller and has progressively advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Interim Chief Financial Officer from January to May 2018 and Chief Accounting Officer from August 2016 to January 2020, before being named CFO.

Prior to joining NOG, Mr. Allen spent three years in the audit practice at Grant Thornton LLP (2010–2013) and six years in the audit practice at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP (2004–2010).

Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Erik Romslo has served as NOG's Chief Legal Officer since January 2020, overseeing all legal, regulatory, and SEC-related matters, and facilitates all Board functions as Secretary. He joined NOG in October 2011 as General Counsel and Secretary, added the title of Executive Vice President in January 2013, and has progressively advanced through roles of increasing responsibility before being named Chief Legal Officer.

Prior to joining NOG, Mr. Romslo practiced law in the Minneapolis office of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (formerly Faegre & Benson LLP), the Company's outside counsel, from 2005 to 2011, where he was a member of the Corporate group. Before that, he practiced law in the New York City office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

Mr. Romslo holds a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and a law degree from New York University School of Law.

Mr. Evans serves as Northern's Chief Technical Officer, overseeing all aspects of the Company's engineering process, including the valuation of properties, reserves, and production forecasting. He joined Northern in 2015 as Reservoir Engineering Manager and has progressively advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Engineering beginning in June 2018 and Senior Vice President of Engineering beginning in January 2020, before being named Chief Technical Officer in 2023.

Prior to joining Northern, Mr. Evans worked at Fidelity Exploration from 2012 to 2015 and Cornerstone Natural Resources from 2009 to 2012. He began his career as a Reservoir Engineer with Cabot Oil & Gas.

Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Technological University.
